DMC-40x0 Multi-Axis Motion Controllers, 1-8 Axis
The DMC-40x0 motion controller is Galil's highest performance, stand-alone motion controller. It belongs to Galil's latest generation motion controller family, which accepts encoder inputs up to 22 MHz, provides servo update rates as high as 32 kHz, and processes commands as fast as 40 microseconds-10 times the speed of prior generation controllers.
The DMC-40x0 is a full-featured motion controller packaged with optional multi-axis drives in a compact, metal enclosure. The unit operates stand-alone or interfaces to a PC with Ethernet 10/100Base-T or RS232. The controller includes optically isolated I/O, high-power outputs capable of driving brakes or relays, and analog inputs for interfacing to analog sensors. The DMC-40x0 controller and drive unit accepts power from a single 20-80 VDC source.
DMC-41x3 Econo Motion Controllers, 1-8 Axis
The DMC-41x3 motion controller is one of Galil's latest generation, stand-alone motion controllers. The DMC-41x3 also accommodates the same stepper and servo motor drives used in the DMC-40x0 series and allows two 4-axis 750 W drives to be installed in the 8-axis controller package.
The DMC-41x3 is available as a box-level or card-level motion controller. The unit operates stand-alone or interfaces to a PC with Ethernet 10/100BASE-T, or USB. It includes optically isolated I/O in addition to analog inputs and outputs. The DMC-41x3 controller and drive unit accepts power from a single 20-80 VDC source.
DMC-21x5 Econo Motion Controller, 1-8 Axis
Galil's DMC-21x5 Ethernet motion controller is intended as a replacement/upgrade for applications built on the previous DMC-21x3 generation. The size and pinout requirements for the DMC-21x5 and DMC-21x3 are identical. The DMC-21x5 featured a number of improvements over it's predecessor including faster Ethernet communication, more program space, and 20 times faster command processing
The DMC-21x5 series is available in 1 through 8 axis versions and can be configured for control of step or servo motors on any combination of axes. It measures just 4.25" x 7.0" for one through four-axis models and 4.25" x 10.75" for five through eight axes.
